Our Purpose is to help the community by providing an insurance option that is reasonable and to actually pay the medical providers for their time and specialties.

Insurance is extremely high, increasingly dysfunctional, requiring more prior authorizations with increasing numbers of denials.

We want people to be able to have medical care that fits their needs and provides medical staff payment for their services. People and medical staff should not have to choose between medical and medication and food and housing.

Vision for a Non-profit Health Insurance Initiative

As part of this initiative we will speak with directors and medical providers of medical facilities to negotiate cash pricing so we can present a compelling offer: a nonprofit insurance model that guarantees prompt payment without the usual pushback or prior authorizations delays for routine care. For specialized treatments, approvals would just take a few days. For example, a medication like Camzyos would require only a one-time prior authorization - no annual renewals - and all related procedures would be pre-approved with no additional hurdles.

Launch a non-profit health insurance supported by crowdfunding (e.g., GoFundMe, etc.) The mission is simple but powerful:

There are many reasons behind our story but one of the main reasons is after spending years fighting with insurance companies to get approvals, having to go without treatments and medications or having major delays in approvals until it causes an additional injury or issue and having to pay out of pocket for necessary treatments due to denials and paying out of pocket for compounded medications due to severe allergies to the ingredients that would be covered by insurance if it was from a major manufacturer of the medication we decided enough was enough and wanted to form our non-profit "Compass Alliance" to help gain control over our healthcare and put the control back in the hands of the patients and their providers.
